MAGFIT is a “home” or place to rest your mobile devices on the gentle felt surface. It also reduces clutter with a magnetic holder to keep your Lightning cable in place or any other magnetic accessories. The mat will serve to keep your devices and personal belongings neatly together.

MAGFIT is a foldable structure which can be used in two ways. When unfolded at its full size, it has enough space to keep other goods such as a small case (business card case), keys and glasses altogether. When it is folded by using the magnetic bottom to hold to a half size, it can be used as a handy stand for your mobile device at an ideal angle to use your phone.

The cable holder on the MAGFIT can secure the cable connecter via the built-in magnet in the corner of the mat. No longer will the cable slide away under the table or your bedside after you disconnect your charged device.

Mr. Aoki from TENT would set his iPhone and glasses at his bedside everyday and kept he Lightning connector nearby. He was troubled with a connector that would often slide down and away after disconnecting as well as a lack of a nice surface to place his iPhone and glasses. His desire to keep all these items together nicely led to the idea of a felt material mat that can also keep the connector in place with an integrated magnet.

His next goal was to create added utility because non-eyeglass wearers were interested in the product as well. He came up with a foldable mat that functions as a resting place when open flat and a stand at an optimized angle for iPhone operation. This added design thought gave birth to MAGFIT.
